Let’s Make This Feel Easier

Planning a vacation is supposed to be exciting. But, for a lot of people that’s where the confusion starts to take over.

There are a million opinions online, endless hotels to compare, pressure to make the “right” decisions, and somehow you’re expected to figure it all out while managing your normal everyday life, too.

I get it.

As a mom with a 15-year age gap between my middle son and my preschooler, family vacations look a little different than they do for most people. I’m constantly balancing different interests, energy levels, schedules, and expectations all at the same time.

But, that’s a big part of why I plan vacations the way I do.

For example, when I’m helping clients choose a hotel, I’m not just looking at pretty pictures.

I’m thinking about things like:

  • whether or not you’re going to be carrying a stroller up and down flights of stairs because the website doesn’t mention it (but I know certain resorts don’t have an elevator).
  • which building I’m going to request so you’re closest to transportation. That way you’re not running a marathon before you even get to the parks.
  • which modes of transportation aren’t going to make you want to pull your hair out by the second day of your trip.
  • whether your hotel location is going to make midday breaks realistic or so inconvenient that everyone stays in the parks longer than they should.
  • whether saving money on the hotel is still worth it once you’re paying for parking/Ubers, tolls, resort fees, and spending half your vacation stuck in traffic.

This is the level of detail I’m putting into every thought process. Because I know that these are the that will absolutely affect how the vacation feels once you’re there.

I’m not here to sell you the “perfect” vacation.

I’m here to help you think through the little details that make a trip feel easier, smoother, and less frustrating.

Sometimes the things that make the biggest difference aren’t the big flashy upgrades. They’re the practical things people don’t realize matter until they’re already on the trip.

That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do.
